One rice cup equals 1/2 measurement cup! I double checked! Wheeeeeee

That is short grain sweet sticky rice!
It’s very glutenous!

excellleeent! i found somewhere online that said 180ml which is about 3/4 cups for a rice cooker, but it was still a tiiiiny bit dry. So I’ll lessen it to a 1/2 cup.

The key to excellent rice is to rinse it repeatedly (as many times as it takes) until the water runs clear. Brown rice is best soaked afterwards in hot water for 10 minutes, then drained before cooking. If you’re a rice addict, Japanese rice maker is the only way to fry!

Hey Betz! Thanks so much for your excellent pearls of rice wisdom! I’ve never soaked my brown rice before, but I’ll definitely give that a try next time.
